Lawn Aeration

Over the course of time, soil becomes compacted. As soil compacts, oxygen and water are restricted, leading to a poor root environment.  Compaction rate is determined by factors including soil texture, moisture, frequency of traffic (this includes foot traffic), lawn mower weight, and others .Core Aeration alleviates soil compaction, and increases oxygen and water penetration into the soil.  By doing so, a denser and deeper root mass is encouraged.Core aeration also helps in reducing thatch. The net effects of core aeration include a denser and healthier lawn, as well as improved drought and disease resistance.

We recommend soil aeration as a part of your lawn care program.
